MHADA (Maharashtra Housing & Area Development Authority) was established in 1977 to provide fair housing to all the economically deprived sections in Maharashtra. MHADA has constructed Flats for Low-Income Group, Middle-Income Group in Mumbai, Pune, Amravati and other districts of Maharashtra. All one needs to do is to fill MHADA Forms and furnish the requisite details and approach MHADA office or regional office. MHADA has been responsible to uplift many families by providing housing with decent facilities and amenities. In Mumbai, especially where, housing and real estate market command high prices, MHADA has provided homes for the low-income group and thus has offered some respite MHADA Mumbai has been able to win accolades for its momentous work in Mumbai and other districts mainly owing to the fact that MHADA has modified its functioning as well as approach according to the changing times. The construction of high-end apartments will be undertaken under MHADA Versova Housing Project for high-income group.
