Bareilly Development Authority incorporated under the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973 by the government of Uttar Pradesh. It came into effect from the year 1977. The City is famous for its fascinating archeological and heritage sites, thus Bareilly Development Authority came into being. It is a part of the Rohilkhand Division.
