SBI Magnum Mutual Fund schemes are available in three primary forms - they can be equity based, debt based or a balanced mix of both. Under each sub-category SBIMF (State Bank of India Mutual Funds) has various magnum mutual funds to offer. Your fund manager at SBIMF can help you select a mutual fund investment portfolio most suited to your requirements and risk tolerance capacity.
Equity Based SBI Magnum Mutual Funds:
The investments in these involve stock markets providing opportunities for higher returns whilst exposure to volatility and higher risks typical to stock markets. These are again of three types Diversified Equity Funds (investments in various stocks in different sectors), Sectoral Equity Funds (investments are restricted to shares of a particular sector thereby increasing the risks involved) and Index Funds (passive investments in stocks of only a particular index).
The available magnum funds under this category are Magnum Comma Fund, Equity Fund, Global Fund, Index Fund, Midcap Fund, Multicap Fund, and Magnum Multiplier Plus 1993, Magnum Sector Funds (including FMGC Fund, Emerging Business Fund, IT Fund, Pharma Fund and Contra Fund) and SBI Magnum Taxgain Schemes 1993. |
