SBI Magnum Mutual Fund schemes are available in three primary forms - they can be equity based, debt based or a balanced mix of both. Under each sub-category SBIMF (State Bank of India Mutual Funds) has various magnum mutual funds to offer. The investments schemes under this category involve corporate bonds, money market instruments and government securities. These usually completely avoid investments in stocks or allow only small exposures to equity schemes thereby minimizing the risks involved and also the returns.
