Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company Limited is the outcome of a 74:26 joint venture between Sundaram Finance Ltd India and Royal & Sun Alliance PLC London. Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Co Ltd was the first foreign joint venture to obtain a license for operating non-life insurance businesses in India.
Royal Sundaram began their official operations on 12th march'2001 with their head office in Chennai. Today they have four regional offices in Chennai, Mumbai, Gurgaon and Kolkata along with 35 branch offices. The Royal Sundaram team includes in-house trained insurance agents, brokers and direct sales office staff. Customer care and peace of mind is a priority for every Royal Sundaram Alliance employee and care is taken to ensure complete assistance to the customers in getting the insurance product best suited to their requirements and easy and transparent insurance claims settlements.
