Government of India has relaxed the various laws governing control and regulation of foreign investments in India and real estate funds in India that has encouraged flow of funds into the real estate sector in India in April 2004, Security and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) allowed Venture Fund Investment in local real estate market. The contribution of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) and other foreign liquidity funds have seen a steady rise of 40 - 45% per year.
