Bank of Rajasthan is one of the leading Private sector banks. This bank was established on the occasion of “Akshya Tritiya” on 8th May 1943. In the establishment of this bank, late Shri Rai Bahadur P.C. Chatterji, was the finance minister at that point of time. He played leading role in the same. Bank of Rajasthan Merger with ICICI Bank
All 463 branches of Bank of Rajasthan have been merged with ICICI bank with approval of Reserve Bank of India in August 2010. This has helped ICICI bank to increase the branch network nearly by 25% to about 2,500 across the country.
