| MHADA Lottery Results 2008 have been a long wait with the announcement of the Housing Scheme for EWS Category Flats in Malad Malvani areas of Mumbai in June 2008. The MHADA Lottery Result slated to be declared on 10th Nov 2008 was del
ayed by two months.
Rumors of fraudulent agents duping the public by promising them confirmed allotment due to possible rigging of the MHADA Lottery System surfaced. MHADA officials however, stated there is no scope of any discrepancies seeping in to the Lottery.
Finally after public clarifications by MHADA that it has no association with any property dealers, the Housing Scheme 2008 was re-announced. The supposed fake booking agents who has allegedly opened offices at the MHADA Versova Flats site were also arrested.
MHADA would hold sale of Registration Forms for MHADA Malad - Malvani
EWS Housing Scheme from 12th January 2009 through 22 branches of HDFC Bank. Out of the 3,863 flats on offer, the authority has kept 51% for general public and the remaining are reserved for SC/ ST, MLA and Other Categories.
The Last Date of Sale of MHADA EWS Flats forms is 30th January 2009. The final dates for the MHADA Lottery Results announcements have not been clarified by the authority.
