Visweshwaraya Layout (SMV), 1337 acres of land was obtained by BDA allotted 10,000 sites for sale in Bangalore. BDA Complex Bangalore acquired 510 acres of land for SMV Layout Further Extension near Kengeri Hobli in January 2004 and allotted 4200 BDA sites. BDA Karnataka approved the HSR Layout in the South East Bangalore and allotted 900 BDA Plots from the year 1986 to 1999.

In Between 2000-2003, BDA Allotment Rates were Rs. 705/sq.m for EWS and Rs. 1590/sq.m for others but in the year 2003 BDA office Bangalore increased it to Rs. 1050/sq.m for EWS and Rs. 2100/sq.m for the rest.

Now, BDA Layouts even provides benefits like dual water supply, independent tertiary treatment and detainment of natural water bodies as well as green area, along with provision of recreational facilities to the customers of BDA sites.
