Allahabad Development Authority which originated in 1974 was formed due to the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning & Development Act of 1973. ADA Development projects began with small & constructions but soon progressed and changed the city's look with its magnificent works. Uttar Pradesh is the largest state of India and hence its Capital City Allahabad attracts a lot of people along with tourists from all over the World due to its cultured significance, thus establishment of Development Authority was very important. ADA - Allahabad Development Authority aims to fulfill its responsibilities of development of the city by constructing state-of-art infrastructure for its residential and commercial projects in a well planned manner, by coordinating with the Master plan laid out by the authorities.ADA Allahabad started many housing schemes like Avantika, Kalindi puram, Juhi, Badri, Parivartan, Shantipuram, Nirupma, Agnipath, Ekanki, Devghat, Trivenipuram, Katju, Ambedkar, Dev-Prayagam, Nav-Prayagam, Chandpur Salori, Asdullapur and I.D.H.
